What Peace Educators Are Saying About Our eCourses...

"What I have learned in the course is very helpful to me as a school teacher, and at the same time an advocate of peace. Through participating in the eCourse, I was exposed to different approaches which I can use in my classroom when I develop my syllabus in Peace Education. This course for me is very impactful because I was able to see peace and peacebuilding in different perspectives."
- Rodgen Jabor, Peace Educator, Philippines

"I thoroughly enjoyed using this eCourse both as a student and as an educator. I then used the eCourse materials at the beginning of a graduate course I was teaching at my University, and each of the 20 students had a similarly refreshing, empowering experience taking it. This course is user-friendly and provides all the tools you need to make a change on any social issue you care about."
- Dr. Olivier Urbain, Director of the Min-On Music Research Institute, Adjunct Faculty at the Soka University Graduate School of International Peace Studies

"What sets Everyday Peacebuilding apart is the simplicity of its tools and resources, making peacebuilding accessible to anyone. Through the course, I identified my peace heroes and gained practical resources to train my team and project beneficiaries. The training presents peacebuilding concepts simply, helping you reflect on your journey and become the peacebuilder you aspire to be."

Your Course Facilitators
Taylor O'Connor, Founder of Everyday Peacebuilding
Hey, I'm Taylor. I'm a big 'peace nerd' obsessed about exploring creative ways to build peace—especially through education and training. I have degrees in Child Development and Peace Education, and I've worked for years as a peacebuilding specialist with NGOs and UN agencies, supporting peacebuilding and peace education programming worldwide.
I've created peace learning frameworks now used globally and developed expertise contextualizing curriculum materials, particularly for low-resource and conflict-affected settings. I also teach online courses with the University for Peace and have led virtual trainings reaching participants from 100+ countries.
I believe that effective peacebuilding doesn't require fancy degrees or complex theories. Passionate individuals just need practical tools and a supportive community to take their peace efforts to the next level.
That's why I launched Everyday Peacebuilding in 2020. I've researched thousands of peace efforts worldwide—including hundreds of peace education approaches—and use what I learned to create practical frameworks and tools you can use today. Whether you're integrating peace themes into existing curricula, developing standalone programs, or navigating institutional resistance, I understand your challenges.
My courses combine practical tools with flexible approaches that respect your knowledge and experience while helping you hone your unique abilities for building peace. Through them, you'll gain the practical skills needed to make tangible change while sustaining long-term impact.
